Dear Neighbors,

We want to share a few important community updates and reminders as we move through the summer season.

Pool Security and Operating Hours

Security cameras have now been installed at the pool. These cameras will be used to help enforce pool rules and operating hours. Thank you to Juan Gomez for volunteering to install the cameras for the pool.

The pool is open daily from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

After 9:00 PM, the gate will be locked. Anyone remaining inside the pool area after closing will be considered trespassing.

Please make sure you are leaving the pool area on time. 

Pool Rules and Clean-Up

Please help us keep the pool clean, safe, and enjoyable for everyone.

A few important reminders:

• No glass is allowed in the pool area.

• No eating food while in the water.

• For safety reasons, no grills are allowed in the pool area.

• All food must be cleaned up and disposed of before you leave.

• Please do not leave food, wrappers, cups, or containers around the deck.

• No street clothes are allowed in the pool.

• Please use the outdoor shower before entering the pool.

These rules are in place for safety, cleanliness, and the comfort of all residents.

Restroom Lights

When leaving the restrooms, please remember to turn off the lights.

Lights have been left on overnight, which increases the community power bill. We are looking into motion lights, but for now, we need everyone to help by turning off the lights after using the restrooms.

A small habit like this helps save money for the whole community.

Community Signs

We recently replaced all stop signs, speeding signs, and handicap signs throughout the community.

We have also added additional signs, including No Fishing signs around the pond.

Please help us by respecting all posted signs. These signs are there for safety, clarity, and the care of our shared community spaces.

Thank you to Juan Gomez and Andy Nance who volunteered to install all the community signs.

Trash Around the Community

We have also had issues with garbage being left around the community.

Please do not assume the landscapers will clean up trash. That is not part of their regular service, and when they do have to remove trash, the community is charged extra.

Recently, someone had an outdoor gathering and left beer bottles in one of the islands. This creates an unnecessary mess and an added expense for everyone.

Our community does not have a separate service that comes through to clean up trash left behind. Any extra clean-up costs come out of our monthly dues.

If you see someone leaving trash behind or creating a mess in the common areas, please let us know.

Landscaping Reminder

Our landscapers are here to cut and trim the common areas.

Each homeowner is responsible for maintaining their own garden areas, including anything planted by the current owner or a previous owner.

We would love to get to a point where we can begin revitalizing landscaping throughout the community. Right now, we are still in repair mode, so we appreciate everyone helping where they can.

Parking and Towing

We want to remind residents that community parking rules will continue to be enforced.

Vehicles that appear to be disabled, abandoned, or have expired tags may be flagged before towing. This gives the owner notice and an opportunity to correct the issue.

Please make sure your vehicle is properly registered, operational, and parked according to the community rules to avoid your vehicle from being towed.

Rental Homes and Tenant Information

If you have a tenant who does not have access to these community emails, please share this information with them.

This helps make sure everyone living in the community is aware of important updates, including pool rules, parking reminders, trash concerns, and time-sensitive notices.

As a reminder, all homeowners with tenants are required to have a current rental agreement on file with William Douglas Management.

Please make sure your tenant information and rental documentation are kept up to date so communication can be handled quickly when needed.

This is the best place to review the current rules and make sure you are up to date.
